Alexey Palagin is an independent consultant with over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. Alexey’s experience includes a proven, committed customer focus combined with forward-thinking innovation. He has accumulated considerable knowledge and expertise by successfully driving lasting digital transformation. Other areas of expertise comprise IT strategy development, technology roadmaps and enterprise architecture. All in a variety of industries such as finance, retail, utilities and higher education. He has worked internationally with a range of companies ranging from multinational banks, vendors and consultancies. From globally renowned companies such as IBM, HSBC and Accenture Digital to start-ups and challenger banks, Alexey was recently instrumental in launching – from scratch – a new UK digital bank with a full banking license within 12 months. Alexey holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Moscow’s Power Engineering Institute and an MBA from the Open University in the UK. He also holds a certificate from Oxford Fintech Programme at The University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
